Min-ji, an ordinary wife, hides a dark secret. Unlike her husband In-gyu’s wishes, who runs a resort business, they remain childless. They’ve tried IVF and folk remedies, but nothing worked.

Her husband and in-laws decide on a surrogate, and Min-ji, exhausted by their pressure, agrees. Her hometown friend Jeong-ah arrives. Min-ji feels uneasy, knowing Jeong-ah holds her past secrets, including living with another man and an abortion. Meanwhile, In-gyu is captivated by bold, seductive Jeong-ah, who slowly usurps Min-ji’s place.

Pushed aside, Min-ji confronts Jeong-ah’s husband, Joo-sik, to stop her. But she falls into his trap, used as a substitute for his runaway wife...
