Asano is fired after taking the fall for leaking company secrets. No other firm dares hire him, so he takes up cleaning jobs to survive. Today, he’s sent to clean his old workplace in place of a colleague. Meeting his former boss, Manager Nanami, who still treats him kindly, he’s shaken when ex-colleagues badmouth him in his presence, revealing that Nanami shifted all blame to him to get him sacked. Enraged, Asano loses control and wrongs Nanami. Later, overhearing his ex-colleagues, he learns they lied—Nanami had always protected him. This realization reignites his drive to find work. After relentless effort, Asano lands a job. Upon hearing the news, Nanami immediately visits to congratulate his perseverance.
